The Process: How We Build Your Story
Every great story starts with a conversation. My process is simple, collaborative, and designed to give you something you can actually use — whether that’s a video, a website, a brochure, or all of the above. Video is often the first and most powerful way to share your message, but everything begins with building a clear foundation.
Step 1: We talk.
It starts with a casual, no-pressure call. You tell me about your business, your goals, and even the quirks that make you different. I ask questions, you share what matters most, and together we uncover the raw material that will form the heart of your story. This isn’t about marketing jargon — it’s about capturing the authentic details that make you human and relatable.
Step 2: We write your Bridge Story.
From those conversations, we collaborate on what I call a “Bridge Story.” This isn’t an outward-facing marketing piece — it’s an internal written narrative that acts as your deliverable's foundation. Think of it as a set of guardrails: it connects where you are today with where you want to go tomorrow, and it keeps everything that follows aligned with your purpose, values, and voice. It's meant to figuratively "bridge" the gap between where you are and where you want to go. When your team or partners need to create content down the road, the Bridge Story ensures everyone is working from the same playbook.
Step 3: I produce your materials.
With the Bridge Story as our guide, I move into production. Most often, that means creating video — because nothing connects faster than a story told through sight and sound. But the same foundation can just as easily power a website, a brochure, or a sales deck. Whatever the format, the process is the same: I draft, refine, and polish until your story feels authentic, compelling, and ready to share.
Step 4: You take it and run.
When the work is done, you’ll receive finished, ready-to-use assets along with practical guidance on how to put them to work. From social media clips to boardroom presentations, your story will be packaged so it’s easy to share and hard to forget. And because we built it on a solid Bridge Story, it will continue to guide your messaging long after the first deliverable is out in the world.
